Description
S-C-D-M LLC is looking for an experienced and highly professional Head of Software Development Team to join the Company.

Responsibilities
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture;
- Set clear team goals;
- Assist PMs to delegate tasks and set deadlines;
- Monitor team performance and report on metrics;
- Motivate team members;
- Discover training needs and provide coaching;
- Listen to team members' feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts;

- Encourage creativity and risk-taking;
- Suggest and organize team building activities;
- Keep up with trends in the constantly evolving information technology industry;
- Perform regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them;
- Write and forward regular reports to the management;
- Provide solution to any complex IT related challenges in the Organization;
- Participate in code reviews;
- Carry out in-depth research to reveal new and better methods of handling functions within the department;
- Ensure that the Company's data and information are protected from unauthorized access.

RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or any other related (close) field;
- At least 3 years of professional work experience in a leading position;
- Proven work experience of J2SE and J2EE; knowledge of Python would be considered an advantage;
- Experience with Object Oriented and design methodologies;
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and design patterns;
- Experience with any RDBMS; experience with NoSQL databases;
- Familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and jQuery;
- Knowledge of Git is a plus;
- Experience with Azure or any other Cloud Services is a plus;
- Knowledge of Unix OS, shell scripting and command-line;
- In-depth knowledge of performance metrics;
- Fluent knowledge of English language, both written and verbal;
- Excellent communication and leadership skills;
- Organizational and time management skills;
- Decision-making skills;
- Ability to listen to own team members and communicate instructions effectively;
- Ability to lead, direct and cooperate with team members.
