The successful candidate will be assigned to specific plant areas, most likely to the Heap Leach facility (HLF) and the Crushing/ Load-Out facilities. The role of the Process Engineer is a technical role and he/ she has no direct reports. The role is both a plant and office-based role that will suit individuals who are both competent in MS Office and other software, and who are motivated to attend to plant related issues and perform problem solving on a regular basis. Job specific training will be provided to candidates who possess the appropriate attributes, but who may lack experience in gold or base metal processing.

Responsibilities
Preoperational Phase:
- Support the Chief Metallurgist in procedure preparation and training material evaluation for operators, and provide training support.

Operational Phase:
- Responsible for metallurgical sampling and quality control, plant optimization and projects, operational and safety procedure development and delivery, reagent management, and assistance with operator training (where applicable);
- Be involved with the Mine and Ore supply to the Crusher; in addition to Metallurgical QA and reporting, assist with problem solving, de-bottle-necking, and will be assigned to projects;
- Responsible for preparing stacking and irrigation plans in the Heap Leach area, monitoring Heap Leach performance to ensure conformity to plan, and optimising solution management, and leaching performance.

RequiredQualifications
- Experience in mining, chemical, cement or related industries as a Process Engineer or a Production Engineer;
- Aptitude and technical proficiency; specific metallurgical expertise is desired;
- Committed attitude to safety management and proficiency in procedure writing;
- Degree or diploma in Metallurgical, Chemical or Production Engineering or equivalent years of experience in a production, or mining environment in Armenia or other country;
- Driving license;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience of other software such as AutoCAD is desired.
- Experience with Process Control Systems (DCS) is desired;
- Exposure to metallurgical accounting software such as MetSim is desired;
- Familiarity with P&ID's and automation in general is desired.
