Responsibilities
- Translate marketing, technical, and informative information from English/Armenian into Traditional and Simplified Chinese and vice versa
- Maintain consistent use of terminology through use and further development of a language glossary
- Work with individual teams to solidify appropriate terminology and usage
- Review and edit existing Chinese print and online material to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Adapt material for individual teams according to a standard of legal, regulatory, and marketing specifics as well as for other localization concerns
- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills
- Fluency in Chinese and English (oral and written).
RequiredQualifications
- Understanding and ability to replicate differences in verbiage between Chinese-speaking markets
- Two years of experience in translating written material into Traditional and Simplified Chinese
- Experience in editing and proofreading Traditional and Simplified Chinese material
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and maintain accuracy and consistency
- Diploma of Chinese language courses
