LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia
As Director Software Development, IoT, you will work in close collaboration with the General Manager, IoT and Head of Product Management for IoT to oversee the development of the TeamViewer IoT solution. You will directly manage the IoT Development and QA team located in Yerevan, and one team (possibly more in the future) in Germany. In addition, you will be a member of the TeamViewer R&D Leadership team, and will work closely with the SVP Engineering to advance the improvement in our engineering management practices and our development processes. You will also guide strategic technology choices and ensure consistent delivery of value to our customers.

Responsibilities
-Develop with your team complex software development projects using the latest technologies and methods
-Be responsible for prioritizing projects and ensuring efficient use of resources within the IoT Development Department
-Be responsible for providing technical supervision and line management to our IoT software development teams
-Build an atmosphere of open communication with partners, management, peers and staff for effective two-way communication; it is especially important to maintain and grow strong relationships with the team in Yerevan and business partners in Germany, US and APAC
-Retain and recruit talents and develop your team to be highly skilled, thereby meeting both today´s project needs and prepare for future demands
RequiredQualifications
-University degree in Computer-Science, Bioinformatics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
-At least 8 years of leadership experience in software development organizations
-Experience of managing technical teams, setting goals and crafting plans to achieve them
-Experience in the management of agile teams and provide outstanding leadership
-Provide managerial and technical strategy guidance to the team, both individually and as a group
-Proficiency in programming languages (C/C++, Java, C#, …) and set high standards with respect to the quality of solutions
-Experience with IoT systems, embedded code/firmware development a strong plus
-Proven ability in collaborating with other functions of the company like Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing and Business Development/Sales
-Excellent business level English language skills required; knowledge of business-level Armenian strongly preferred
-BEHAVIORAL SKILLS:
-Strong communication and negotiation skills, and experience working in an international and interdisciplinary environment
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts
-Ability to mentor /coach and lead others and develop leadership talent in a global multicultural environment
