Responsibilities
- Empower citizens to be involved in the social accountability initiative; inform the participants and citizens about outcome of the social accountability initiative
- Aggregate information obtained from the monitoring or reporting mechanism; transmit aggregated information to competent decision makers
- Develop training module on social auditing of budgets and conduct targeted trainings with different groups of stakeholders, including youth, Community Working Groups (CWGs), women, Water User Associations (WUAs), Civil Society organizations (CSOs)
- Develop a training toolkit for trainer on Social audit aiming to improve the performance of relevant authorities and in so doing enhance accountability and transparency Major Outputs:
- Oversight, monitoring and feedback mechanisms developed and implemented
- Training module for building capacities in social audit
- 3-4 trainings in Social audit for at least 60 people in target communities
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Social Sciences, Finance, Economy, Administration and/or at least 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Previous experience with working with RA Government institutions. Strong familiarity with national and local government systems and functions
- Knowledge of the Government institutions, particularly in water user associations (WUAs) and understanding of decision making processes
- Flexible for traveling and field works in the Ararat and Armavir Marzes
- Fluency in written and spoken Armenian is required
- Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and e-mail
