RGAM Retail Group Armenia CJSC is looking for a Corporate Lawyer who will advise the Company on legal-related matters and minimize the legal risks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, review, amend, and prepare legal documents (contracts, POA, internal policies);
- Represent the Company via POA when requested;
- Negotiate, draft, and execute legal documents; verify their compatibility with the legislation in force;
- Advise on legal issues/ risks, contract status, and business terms of various deals;
- Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the business and update the concerned departments;
- Align company rules and procedures in accordance with the law and international policies;
- Guarantee compliance of activity of all departments with local and international legislation;
- Develop and provide solutions to complex legal issues;
- Insure the corporate formalities for registration/ renewal/ liquidation of the Company;
- Conduct legal formalities: registration, notarization, apostle, legalization of agreements, licenses, trademarks;
- Develop and update company policies, procedures and guidelines according to the local and international legislation for preventing the Company from legal risks;
- Perform pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights;
- Represent the Company in courts, government bodies and other organizations when requested.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Law from a reputable university; master's degree in Law is desirable;
- At least 5 years of related work experience; 3 years of experience in a management level;
- Work experience in a multinational company;
- Experience in corporate, commercial law;
- Experience in civil and administrative case prosecution;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Good knowledge and execution of civil and commercial legislation;
- Organized and versatile person;
- Responsive person with high communication skills;
- Good aptitude for autonomy and work under pressure.
