Summary: The U.S. Mission in Yerevan is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Guard.
The work schedule for this position is:
•Full Time (number of hours per week – 40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.

Supervisory Position: No
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.

Responsibilities
-Performs guard duties on a regular or rotating shifts at either a stationary or a walking post in any of several assignments located in the main or component buildings and the Chief of Mission residence. Control the access to the buildings or grounds, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter. Conduct physical security screening of all visitors, to include males and females and those of different religious and ethnic backgrounds. Maintain a log of all visitors, including the license numbers of cars.

RequiredQualifications
-Completion of secondary school is required.
-One year of previous law enforcement or security or customer service related work experience is required.
-Level 2, limited knowledge of English (speak/read). Level 3 in Armenian is required (This may be tested).
-All male guards must be able to complete a minimum of 20 push-ups in one minute, 25 sit-ups in one minute, and run 2.4 km in 16 minutes. All female guards must be able to complete a minimum of 20 push-ups (on knees) in one minute, 25 sit-ups in one minute, and run 2.4 km in 16 minutes (This may be tested).
