Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.
- Serve as technical expert on development projects.
- Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.
- Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
- Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.
- Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
- Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
- Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
- Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
- May consult with senior peers on certain projects.
RequiredQualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science or an applicable technical focus.
- Good understanding of OOP.
- 2 to 5 years software development experience.
- C#/VB/ASP.NET (with .NET 4.0 and higher) experience is required.
- Advanced SQL skillset (SQL server 2008 and higher) required.
- Experience with Visual Studio 2015/17 is required.
- Experience with software architectural patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.).
- A minimum of one year of JavaScript experience is required.
- A minimum of one year’ experience with HTML5/CSS3/jQuery is required.
- Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) is a plus.
- Experience in developing document management applications is a plus.
- Experience with Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite of products: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of English language, both communication and technical level.
