Description
Alfa-Pharm CJSC is looking for a reliable Logistics/ Warehouse Manager to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. He/ she will organize and monitor the storage and distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services;
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice warehouse vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures;
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle;
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods;
- Ensure efficient and effective use of warehouse space to include layout and future capacity requirements;
- Create policies and procedures for warehouse activities and ensure all systems meet the standards for accreditation in line with the quality systems;
- Handle technical details relating to possibly international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation;
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers;
- Coordinate the Procurement Department for receiving goods items from suppliers;
- Ensure the stocking and loading of products according to FIFO rules;
- Effectively control product losses/ damages as per setting standards during product storage/ handling;
- Evaluate routing solutions, recommend optimal transportation solution and create optimal freight movements;
- Perform basic investigations of mission requirements and provide fielding and scheduling recommendations for systems and equipment upgrades;
- Develop business by gaining new contracts; analyze logistical problems and produce new solutions;
- Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy;
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency;
- Ensure that vehicles, machinery and equipment are well maintained and fit for purpose;
- Ensure the relevance and accuracy of all documentation relating to goods in and goods out including labeling of all stock items;
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements;
- Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics or a related field;
- Proven work experience as a Logistics and Warehouse Manager;
- Knowledge of military logistics, supply and general shop operations;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills;
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff;
- Proficiency in standard logistics software;
- Knowledge of GDP standards;
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects;
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analysis;
- Time management skills;
- Ability of team building and team motivation.
