Bookamed is currently seeking a Junior Back-End Developer who is passionate about technology and software development, a professional who is self-motivated, excited to work on building enterprise software as well as wants to grow and challenge himself/ herself.

Responsibilities
- Develop new applications;
- Add new functionality to live web applications;
- Responsible for debugging, optimizing and maintaining live databases and web applications;
- Develop, test and prepare documentation for APIs;
- Integrate third party APIs into the Company's core product;
- Perform unit and automated test case development;
- Adhere to strict coding guidelines and standards;
- Work well both independently and as part of a team with a proactive attitude to problem-solving;
- Work closely with a team of Back-End, Front-End, Mobile Developers and Product Managers;
- Coach and guide junior developers;
- Manage individual tasks priorities, deadlines and deliverables.

RequiredQualifications
- More than 2 years of advanced working knowledge in PHP and MySQL in a professional environment;
- Excellent knowledge of OOP and design patterns;
- Experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
- Knowledge of in Socket.io, Node.js, Redis and AJAX;
- Experience in using RESTful API and JSON;
- Experience in using Git or similar source code control;
- Ability to write clean code and technically document it;
- Logical thinker;
- Strong team player who is willing to listen, learn, teach and help the team;
- Highly driven person; willingness to work in a start-up environment and with an international team;
- Transparent and reliable person who values ethics;
- Excellent attention to details;
- Flexible and solutions-oriented person with a great attitude;
- Ability to adapt to different and changing environments, people and priorities;
- Fluency in English language.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience of responsive and/ or adaptive design in AngularJS;
- Experience in developing CRM and/ or data intensive financial solutions.
