Globbing LLC is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying the Company's financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results;
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending;
- Manage accounting assistants and bookkeepers;
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process;
- Provide input into department's goal setting process;
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns;
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance;
- Plan, assign and review staff's work;
- Support month-end and year-end close process;
- Perform other job-related assignments given by the Chief Accountant.
RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field;
- At least 2 years of experience as an Accountant;
- Excellent knowledge of local accounting, tax rules and regulations and accounting standards;
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word and Outlook) and accounting software packages (Armenian Software 7);
- Utmost personal integrity and professionalism;
- Highly responsible and accurate person, who is extremely attentive to details;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
