Responsibilities

  • Update and implement the Aznavour Foundation’s Communication Strategy (both general and project oriented);
  • Write, edit and distribute content, including publications, press releases, articles, newsletters, marketing materials;
  • Create/ write, translate, edit and publish content on the Aznavour Foundation website and social media channels;
  • Develop presentations, brochures, leaflets and other marketing materials in close cooperation with project managers and designers;
  • Develop public and donor reports;
  • Plan and manage promotional, community and partners' engagement events;
  • Manage media relations and database;
  • Management of video production teams, work with archive video materials;
  • Handle the arising issues timely and proactively and troubleshoot emerging problems;
  • Provide support with ad hoc tasks and assignments upon request.

RequiredQualifications

  • Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing or a relevant field;
  • Excellent writing/ editing and verbal communication skills in French, English and Armenian languages; knowledge of an additional language is a plus;
  • 3-5 years of experience in PR, communications or journalism;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to details;
  • Stress-resistance and ability to work under strong pressure in conditions of conflicting priorities, tasks and deadlines;
  • Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other supporters;
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, and entrepreneurial; person, who enjoys creating and implementing new initiatives.
