Responsibilities
- Researching markets, gathering, analyzing data from online platforms and suggesting product categories and innovations that will have demand
- Identifying and analyzing trends and forecasts across selected platforms and product categories
- Using statistical, economic, and data modeling techniques and tools collect and analyze pricing models across competition
- Organizing and analyzing data, creating charts and graphs, and presenting the findings
- Providing strategic recommendations to enter into the trending product markets
- Organizing and storing data for future research projects
RequiredQualifications
- Degree in Economics, Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in applied research or data management may be advantageous
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and data modeling skills
- The ability to manipulate large, complex data sets into manageable, understandable reports
- Knowledge in consumer electronics, hardware and physical innovation will be an advantageous
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team working skills
- Familiarity with data modeling software and Excel software
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
