Responsibilities
-The incumbent will gather, plan, organize, write and maintain technical documentation of various components for SMS and SHS products
-In a short period of time he/she must be motivated to learn and understand the domain, research the products by analyzing existing technical documentation and actually installing and using the product
-This role also requires collaboration with R&D managers and designated engineers to acquire and organize new technical content for the new and/or modified features in the products. It also requires acquisition of knowledge from Synopsys documentation standards and close collaboration with external senior documentation writers inside Synopsys to finalize and produce quality documentation included in SMS and SHS official releases
-In this position you will need to:
-Consistently meet deadlines. Work independently and as part of a team
-Learn new domain, technology and product quickly
-Build productive internal/external working relationships with stakeholders
-Become proficient with tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job
-Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
-Receive general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments
RequiredQualifications
-Higher education in computer science and/or other related field
-A minimum of 2 years' experience in IT domain and environments where multiple versions of documents are stored
-Excellent working knowledge MS Office suite, specifically Word
-PowerPoint and Visio. Working knowledge of FrameMaker is a plus
-Previous experience of writing technical level documentation is a strong plus
