Epiroc Armenia is looking for a candidate for the position of Business Controller/ Chief Accountant.
Responsibilities
- Focus on business control activities that add value to the consolidated business;
- Implement effective business control processes and tools;
- Co-ordinate the planning process;
- Initiate and follow-up corrective actions when needed;
- Promote transparency in facts and figures to ensure a decision process based on adequate and objective information;
- Utilize and share leading practices through interaction with other parts of Epiroc;
- Initiate/ safeguard training in business control, including "The Epiroc Way", in the whole organization;
- Safeguard a professional development for all employees within own area of responsibility;
- Make sure that "The Epiroc Way" is followed in all aspects;
- Make sure that the future direction of the Company, expressed in strategies, goals and targets, is reflected in the planning process; the scorecards are important tools for managing the Company;
- Make sure that the management has well documented action plans to support the strategy and that plans for corrective actions exist if there are deviations from agreed plans;
- Make sure that leading business indicators and highlights/ red flags are produced to support management in steering the business; furthermore closely follow up the development of the Company versus trends and analyze deviations from agreed plans;
- Initiate and run benchmarking and leading practice projects in order to learn from others and improve processes;
- Participate in various projects and internal audits within Epiroc;
- Secure that solid asset management procedures are in place, safeguarding that the Company operates with a minimum of capital tied up;
- Make corporate and local statutory reporting;
- Safeguard that the accounting is in accordance with the local statutory accounting practices and that monthly and quarterly group reports are correct, complete and on time;
- Make sure that appropriate risk awareness and internal control procedures are in place and that external and internal auditors get necessary support;
- Secure legal and statutory compliance;
- Secure internal controls via procedures and Prokura.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics;
- At least 5 years of experience in a related position in multinational companies;
- Excellent knowledge of Armenian tax and accounting law;
- Fluency in English language; knowledge of other languages will be a plus;
- Knowledge of ERP system; knowledge of BPCS and/ or M3 will be an advantage;
- Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
- Knowledge of different type of service operations;
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite);
- Highly business oriented person with ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability;
- Openness to change and reactiveness;
- Strong service orientation;
- Capability to support and teach in all levels;
- Ability to work in a team.
