Responsibilities
- Participating in defining the company’s strategy, standards, best practices and templates for Tech Writing
- Planning, developing, organizing and editing software documentations and manuals
- Producing electronic documentations using different tools
- Maintaining a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentations
- Analyzing technical documents to maintain continuity of style content
- Working with other technical writers to continuously improve and develop the documentation of company products
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
RequiredQualifications
- Experience as a technical writer for at least 3 years in an Agile software development environment
- Excellent writing skills in English
- Preferred field of study: English Language, or Computer Science with strong English knowledge or equivalent (degree in any English speaking university will be considered as a big plus)
- Strong ability to review and analyze project requirements and specifications
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
- Proficiency in collaboration software, preferably Atlassian Confluence and Jira
- Abstract thinking and ability to understand complex technical concepts
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies, tools, etc.
- Familiar with Markdown, HTML, XML, source code reading
- Understanding of programming languages, databases, REST API
- Ability to write highly technical documentation from scratch, including developer documentation
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
