Description
The Revenue Assurance Unit Supervisor is responsible for the organization, enhancement and improvement of different data sources analysis processes for revenue leakage control/ prevention purposes, as well as for detection and timely suspension/ localization of fraud cases. He/ she is also responsible for thorough investigation of detected fraud cases or data inconsistencies, determination of their possible root causes, clear and accurate reporting, as well as for improvement of revenue assurance functions.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of required data analysis, processing and development tools and resources (SQL scripting, visual studio, DB access, etc.);
- Coordinate and supervise the process of different data sources processing and loading into corresponding database and FMS server;
- Manage the procedures of CDRs processing and loading into FMS and local databases;
- Supervise timely resolution of the detected fraud cases (by FMS or other tools);
- Supervise the data inconsistency analysis and investigation processes, ensure the correctness of results;
- Follow up the deep analysis implementation taking into account the characteristics of each source (local, roaming, international, etc.);
- Allocate and control the staff duties and responsibilities;
- Coach and mentor the staff on job functions and career development plans;
- Participate in development of Unit strategy, budget and business plan;
- Cooperate with the Company relevant departments regarding the required improvements/ changes for revenue loss or fraud cases prevention;
- Supervise the analysis of different reports from different sources and their reflection in corresponding reports;
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.
RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication or a related field;
- At least 4 years of experience in telecommunication's information technologies related fields (Billing, IN, data analysis);
- 2 years of experience in managerial position;
- Strong understanding of telecom business logic and principles, network nodes interconnection and fraud types and scenarios;
- Knowledge of RDBMS - MS SQL, ORACLE;
- Knowledge of Linux systems on user level, and Shell scripting (Bash); knowledge of PHP/ Python is an advantage;
- Excellent analytical, leadership and delegating skills;
- Experience in project and process management;
- Proactive and goal-oriented person;
- Excellent knowledge of English and Russian languages;
- Good communication skills;
- Problem-solving skills.
