Responsibilities

  • Establish a carrier base for new and existing accounts, including compliance checking and filling in the carriers’ database
  • Maintain and grow relationships with carriers to move freight as per client’s needs
  • Register as carrier and grow relationships with freight brokers.
  • Identify issues, resolve problems, and be able to think critically to determine the best course of action in an ever-changing industry
  • Persistently contact new and existing carriers to determine capacity and negotiate competitive rates
  • Maximize partnerships by efficiently utilizing analytics and evaluating profits as per market fluctuations
  • Generate leads for future client identification
  • Research and understand market trends, changes and seasonality
  • Communicate with clients and carriers daily to negotiate rates plan movement
  • Work in tandem with the internal team members to ensure client satisfaction

RequiredQualifications
