Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities of Hotel Development Project Managers, Corporate Architects and Interior Designers
  • Effectively build relationships, collaborate, and influence team members to achieve objectives
  • Verify all project plans using project management software used at Ginosi
  • Act as the senior person responsible for hotel/apartel development projects internationally
  • Coordinate zoning matters with the appropriate consultants, legal firms and governmental bodies
  • Establish processes, policies and procedures that help drive reliability, efficiency and accuracy
  • Deliver projects and related communications effectively to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for overseeing and implementing continual process improvement initiatives
  • Verify all project plans using project management software 
  • Ensure quality is maintained in the successful delivery of projects in terms of time, budget, resources and quality
  • Effectively implement PMO best practices to maintain better cross-functionality by driving the strategic vision and maturing the PMO
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI)/metrics and standard Service-Level Agreements (SLAs), and create reporting mechanisms
  • Develop and deploy world-class project management methodologies within a team, and coach/mentor Project Managers to achieve and improve results
  • Prepare timely reports regarding the status of projects, including cost variances, unresolved items and other project-related reports for executive review
  • Build, supervise and lead project team organisation and governance, and manage operating rhythm to ensure milestone are met and task completed, and ensure early detection and resolution of potential risks and/or issues
  • Coordinate the process of selecting general contractors, subcontractors and other similar third-party vendors. Work in cooperation with Procurement to solicit bids for a variety of development-related contracts
  • Monitor the business unit closeout process, including contract closeouts, punch list and final reports
  • Monitor construction activity/progress
  • Other duties as assigned
