Seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly responsible QA engineer to strengthen QA team in Yerevan, Armenia.
Our product is used for viewing and editing IC layouts in various formats. We are looking for QA expert to keep the product quality at the high level.

Responsibilities
-Script writer in Perl, PhP, Shell, … languages
-Extend and maintain the performance test suite and ensure continuous monitoring of product performance. Maintain performance execution scripts and database
-Support test harness scripts and support it on both Windows and Linux platforms
-Perform in project leadership role. Contribute to project planning activities.
-Provide regular updates to manager on project status
-Responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards for company products
-Develop and execute software test plans. Analyze and writes test standards and procedures
-Document test results to assist in debugging and modification of software
-Analyze test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action
-Investigate product failures to determine what went wrong, and develop and recommend corrective actions for the company to use going forward
-Train other QA engineers in the proper methods for testing products and reporting problems. Guide more junior peers with aspects of their job
-Participate in regular team meetings
RequiredQualifications
-Master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or applied mathematics, 5+ years of related experience
-Advanced knowledge and proven experience with scripting languages(TCL, Perl, PHP)
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Good verbal and written English
-Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions
-Determine and develop approach to solutions. Work is independent and collaborative in nature Frequently network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise
-Preferred:
-Background in IC design. Knowledge of IC design flow is a big plus
-Knowledge of layout viewing/editing tools is a big plus
-Experience with MySQL
-Experience with X11:GUItest, Win32:GUItest
-Experience with test automation in Windows
