Responsibilities
- Drive different types of vehicles (light and heavy) in strict adherence to internal security rules and traffic laws of the Republic of Armenia: drive efficiently to minimize fuel consumption and use of material;
- Constantly monitor security conditions on the road;
- Ensure that goods are stored inside the vehicle according to local, international and organization safety standards, assist in loading and unloading of vehicles;
- Check their assigned per trip equipment of vehicles, general functioning and body conditions and ensure that it is kept fuelled and clean inside and out;
- Check that trips have been authorized where necessary;
- Immediately report accidents, defects and/ or missing equipment to management;
- Act as a head of convoy as needed;
- Perform small purchases upon request;
- Perform various office work related to logistic activities according to given procedures (filing of logistics' documents, interact with suppliers, etc.);
- Work under close supervision of line manager;
- Assist the Workshop Supervisor to carry on tasks related to the maintenance of fleet and generators upon request.

RequiredQualifications
- Secondary school diploma;
- BC categories or upper DE driving license held for at least 5 years;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar field of activity;
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English, Russian and Armenian languages;
- Good knowledge of the geographically assigned environment;
- Capacity to adhere to ICRC procedures;
- Masters 4/4 use, experience in truck driving is an asset;
- Automobile maintenance experience, basic knowledge of mechanics;
- Experience as a Mechanic is an asset.
