Responsibilities
What you will do:
- Engage in the negotiation with PMs regarding task demands and specifications in regards to labour and material, and assist in creating comprehensive technical documents
- Review PM's technical demands and instructions and assist internal team and PM to identify the most efficient methods of maintaining and using delivered materials
- Write code in one or more programming/scripting languages, such as PHP, JavaScript, and others
- Design the architecture of the components of a website, thoroughly test new features to ensure they perform as intended without glitches
- Document code, so other developers can understand and contribute to it
- Carry out technical and coding related duties
- Set priorities and assign tasks and projects to all team members
- Gather business and tech requirements from PMs, propose solutions and define technical tasks for the tech team
- Effectively communicate with design, fulfilment, product management, customer support teams, as well as business owners outside of the company
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with dev, test and product environments
- Communicate work-design and negotiate future direction with peers, researchers, designers, product partners, and executives
- Lead a small team of designers, including coaching, performance-based feedback
- Implement user testing and research
- Carry out weekly progress meetings with the design & development team
RequiredQualifications
You will need:
- At least 3 years experience in a leading position is a must
- Excellent knowledge of Woocommerce, PHP, MySQL is a must
- Proficiency in working with Adobe XD
- Experience in working with ReactJS, Angular JS or similar
- Javascript library/framework is preferable
- Great communication skills, ability to lead teams, flexibility
