Responsibilities
- Responsible to Design database cluster
- Design and implement Elasticsearch
- Responsible for the performance and tuning of Elasticsearch indexes
- Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques to backup data
- Minimise database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
- Provide proactive and reactive data management
- Monitor database performance and implement changes
- Knowledge of Big data database
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Information Technology or related field
- Proven working experience as a Database design
- Experience in Elasticsearch, UNIX, Shell script
- Hands-on experience with database standards
- Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security and integrity
- Familiarity with database design and documentation
- Experience with Elasticsearch configuration
- Experience with Elasticsearch installation, cluster configuration, parameters setting, snapshot backup & restoration, query writing and tuning on Unix platform
- Experience with Kibana configuration
- Experience with Unix Scripting, Kernel tuning
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to innovate and think out-of-the-box
- Ability to take initiative and handle concurrent tasks with appropriate priority
- Ability to meet objectives and adhere to deadlines with minimal supervision
- Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
- Strong collaboration skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability and willingness to acquire in-depth understanding of domain and existing products and apply that knowledge to work scenarios
