Description
Middle QA Automation Engineer, Health Monitoring System
Position Overview
The client has developed a system that captures vital indicators and advises users on healthy sleep. The application tracks the heart rate, breathing, bed presence. The data is stored in the server and interpreted by Neural networks to derive a detailed summary of the sleep quality.
DataArt's specialists are developing the server part of the application. It is a distributed high-load solution for the cloud platform. The system processes data from the "smart beds" to determine the sleep quality.
Responsibilities
-Supply and maintenance of an automated testing framework that can be used to test embedded IoT devices and for use with backend web applications
-Code review and approval of ideas for developing a framework and test scripts submitted by other engineers on the team
-Delivery and adherence to schedules related to projects and tasks that will be developed to support the automated software testing goals
-Creation of test cases and automated test scripts that verify the compliance of the released software products with engineering requirements and the requirements for the product
-Preparation of test execution summary reports for the development team
RequiredQualifications
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field
-5+ years of experience in a software development organization with a solid understanding of QA fundamentals
-Strong knowledge of source control management, coding standards, code reviews, and build and release processes
-Experience creating well organized test automation libraries and test suites for REST APIs and embedded devices
-Knowledge of and experience with the Robot Framework and Selenium for automated testing
-Experience with Python
-Experience working in an AWS environment
-Experience with both cloud-based application and networked device deployments and troubleshooting
-Highly successful results in a CI/CD environment with the ability to both implement processes and procedures from scratch as well as improve the existing infrastructure
