Responsibilities
- Identify customer requirements, define and implement technical project plans, manage milestones and hold reviews to assure systems meet requirements and readiness for deployment
- Interact with customers, NI internal stakeholders, external partners and suppliers in support of designing, implementing custom test solutions
- Manage the specification, design, development, test and deployment of the turnkey automated testing solutions using the team’s engineering methodology and development guidelines
- Responsible for all technical deliverables for the given project
- Manage and give direction to the development team in the creation of custom integrated systems
- Own and implement individual technical deliverables (selection of instruments, development and deployment of measurement SW), guide technical decisions and drive field found issues to resolution
- Design and develop standard frameworks to be leveraged by multiple projects
RequiredQualifications
- BS degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science or related discipline
- 5+ years of experience with system integration and software (LabVIEW, TestStand, PXI, and/or C/C++) or hardware development
- Tech lead experience
- Thorough understanding of design principles
- Excellent English communication skills and experience working directly with customers and other team members
- Ability to work effectively and take initiative in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Willing and able to travel up to 50 % of the time
