Responsibilities
- Take care of the release management process within the client’s IT governance framework
- Define and plan releases while ensuring alignment with established software development and testing practices in order to meet the client’s business needs.
- Daily time tracking and management of release task activities and schedules.
- Manage the underpinning service providers to ensure release schedules are met, the work progresses, and new releases are brought on stream to keep development & testing teams fully occupied.
- Lead the bi-weekly release management committee
- Produce monthly release based KPI reports for the Service Management dashboard
RequiredQualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT Management
- Experience managing offshore and onshore suppliers
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of testing and development methodologies (Agile)
- Accreditation in ITIL and PRINCE2
- Knowledge of Java J2EE, SAP ECC6.0, XML technology areas
