Description
We are looking for a Junior Java Developer with at least 1-2 years of experience. As a junior developer at Novanus Solutions, you'll be a member of a team and work collaboratively on new and diverse projects. You will be introduced to new technologies and guided by a senior developer.
Interviews will be held during Aug 27 to Aug 30 in Yerevan.
Responsibilities
-As a Junior Java Developer, you will:
-Work collaboratively with the development team to get a feel for and learn about the Novanus development process.
-Clone Git code repositories and configure development environments running Java Spring Boot/Cloud/Data micro services on containerized platforms like Docker and/or Kubernetes.
-Model and implement intricate data structures for relational databases such as PostgreSQL as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB, utilizing Spring Data/JPA.
-Develop high-volume, low-latency services for mission-critical systems and deliver high-availability and performance
-Write simple Java micro services following client specifications while maintaining a high level of unit test coverage to catch and prevent feature regressions.
-Commit your changes to the code repository, which will then be reviewed by a senior to help you to improve your code quality.
-Follow agile development methodologies and take part in weekly team scrums -well as daily standup meetings.
RequiredQualifications
-Novanus Solutions is looking for a professional Junior Java Developer who:
-Obtained BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
-Enjoys working on a small team and is excited to build highly customized web applications
-Has a good grasp of Java development techniques as well as started to explore the Spring Framework
-Acquired fluent written and spoken English skills
