Responsibilities
- Act as a Department Director in the absence of Financial Director
- Supervise the daily operations of the Financial Department
- Participate in development of the corporate fundraising strategy and manage relationships with partners
- Oversee the Company's transaction processing systems
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations
- Prepare monthly financial reports and financial statements, as well as timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis
- Understand and mitigate key elements of the Company's risk profile
- Assist in developing and implementing new financial and accounting techniques and systems or in modifying existing methods and procedures
- Aid in administration of department and division budgets
- Review check requests and purchase requisitions, compare expenditures with budget appropriations, as assigned.
- Perform related duties as required
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Public Administration
- At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in the relevant field
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
- Working knowledge of the finance and budgeting, research methods and statistical analogies
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Excellent communication skills; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, other departments and the public
- Fluency in Russian and English languages is necessary
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
