Role Purpose
In the current environment Credit Services play a significant role in driving the banking business in risk balanced environment. As a strategic partner to businesses Credit Services department has a model to enable the businesses remain profitable through the economic cycles with proper mitigation of credit operational risks through design and operations of safe processes and controls.

The Credit Operations Manager plays a focal role in driving and leading the credit operation processes with end-to-end ownership and responsibility for accurate, timely, safe and complete operations of credit related maintenances in banking systems, credit reporting and change management for Retail and Wholesale Banking customers' credit deals driven by policy and regulatory changes.

Responsibilities
-Lead, develop and manage direct reports ensuring provision of high standard of operational efficiency, customer services, ensure assistance to Business in achievement of their objectives
-Minimize risk and maximize operational efficiency by establishing safe and streamlined processes within system maintenances and credit reporting scope
-Achieve results by working with the team
-Lead and prioritize the operational processes of credit facilities and collaterals
-Assist Head of Credit Services in coaching and motivating credit services operations team for meeting the expected level of service quality from key stakeholders
-Ensure strict alignment to global standards
-Identify development potential within Operations team and guide direct reports to maximize their potential
-Operate with the highest standards that meet and exceed all regulatory requirements and ensure that Credit Services Team acts as first line of defense, leading Credit Services related Projects implementation processes
-Play active role as part of wider area leadership team

RequiredQualifications
-Proven self- motivational, analytical, planning, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, lateral thinking, managerial and project management skills to be able to handle problems in a confident and decisive manner;
-Strong ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines, able to work with ambiguity and complexity, self-starter with high energy and enthusiasm;
-A high level of professional competence which helps to determine solutions around appropriate risk measures, mitigating controls and risk management processes;
-3-5 years prior working experience in Operations/Services field having strong customer and Business support focus, operational experience.

-Typical qualifications would include a master or post-graduate degree in Economics, Business administration, Finance or other related field.

-The following skills are essential for this managerial role:
-Demonstration of a flexible approach to change, a willingness to embrace change, and the ability to communicate and gain commitment to change, leadership skills for constantly changing credit operations risk environment;
-Creating innovative ideas, a positive and balanced outlook with the ability to make decisions in complex and difficult situations;
-Good Knowledge of Local Legislation (mainly banking legislation, CBA regulations, Insurance legislation etc.)
-Ability to make robust/tough decisions which may be contrary to the business wishes;
-Proven ability in team leading and management.
-Proven ability to prioritize competing demands;
-Fluency in Armenian and English (Verbal/Written)
-Good communication and interpersonal skills
