Currently we are looking for a .NET Developer for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
The ideal candidate will join a team of highly motivated people in Securities Settlement Operations IT department within the Group Operations IT.
You'll be working in Securities Settlement team in Opfikon. The team designs, delivers and operates state of the art financial systems that offer best-in-class services to the bank's clients. We have a mix of modern mixed with a legacy install base which we are continually renewing.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in developing web applications (C#, ASP.NET MVC and ASP. NET Web forms, JavaScript, HTML, CSS), both client and server side
- Experience with Agile techniques and was part of Agile team
- MS SQL Server database skills
- Good understanding of the whole web application stack from database layer up to the front-end
- Experience in large and distributed team software engineering practices
- Incident management, problem analysis skills in a complex environment with remote, multi-tiered installations
- Experience in test-driven development and Continuous Integration
- Experience dealing with legacy code
- Experience with Git and SVN
- Knowledge of DevExpress is a plus
- Proven track record in delivering software solutions to demanding product owners
- Financial industry knowledge is a plus
- Good communication skills (English, German is a plus)
- Customer-focused and supportive
- Good team player but can also work on individual tasks without supervision
- Able to pick up new skills quickly
- Cooperative
- Able to stay calm and focused under pressure
