Responsibilities
- Teach the course according to the curriculum
- Develop syllabi and course plans for students and hold regular class/office hours as appropriate for the teaching load
- Give homework assignments, grade them and return them to students on a regular basis
- Ensure that all quizzes, tests, papers, and final exams are graded and returned to students in a timely manner to provide feedback on their work
- Find, implement, and share new instructional strategies
- Ensure high standards of professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subject
- Be familiar with international Math exams
- Have an extensive knowledge in mathematics
- Confidently explain concepts and process to students
- Keep up with best practices in math education and incorporate them into the instruction
- Be equipped with multiple ways to solve problems and use alternate strategies to help students grasp difficult concepts
- Adapt at structuring the classroom environment to facilitate learning
- Have high skills in planning effective classroom instructions
- Be proficient in preparing effective and appropriate lesson plans
- Make engaging lessons that develop student critical thinking and problem solving skills
- To assess student progress regularly
- To have excellent grasp over advanced mathematical concepts
- Perform other related duties as assigned
RequiredQualifications
- University Diploma in a relevant field
- Good command in English Language
- At least 2 years' of teaching experience
