Responsibilities

• Convert features into user stories; create business and functional requirements for them

• Groom user stories and requirements with developers to ensure requirements are clear and the team is ready to execute

• Utilize data analysis software to research market trends, identify product ideas and opportunities based on industry trends, current market environment and competitive trends

• Incorporate User Experience, deeply understand what matters most to customers and use these insights to optimize the user experience

• Improve data access and integrity through building and maintaining effective dashboards and collaborating with Developers to improve data accuracy and reliability

• Explore and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify product opportunities and discover product insights

• Develop key success metrics critical for evaluating product success from a business and user perspective

• Conduct experiments (e.g., A/B and switchbacks) to evaluate the impact of new product features

• Tackle problems in creative and logical ways and consistently brainstorm alternative solutions

• Provide insights and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders based on deep analysis and alignment with business goals • Partner and collaborate with teams across the organization to remove roadblocks and unlock new opportunities

RequiredQualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering

• +3 years relevant experience in product or data analytics

•  Experience defining user-experience and business metrics

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience using experimentation to analyze the impact of new features (e.g., A/Bs, multivariate testing, switchbacks, casual impact, etc)

• Experience working with large / diverse data sets

• Experience telling stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences and creating clear and compelling visualizations to convey complex data

• Experience managing stakeholders including strong communication and presentation skills

• Advanced knowledge of statistical methods is a plus

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work in a self-guided manner
