Responsibilities
- Be involved in building the scalable data flows and application of machine learning based airline revenue management system offering
- Work closely with leadership to understand and influence strategic product directions while translating those into appropriate API designs and service architectures required to support new product offerings
- Provide evaluation and guidance on engineering options, and need to present detailed technical findings to managers and peers around tradeoffs in performance, capabilities, and costs
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in Computer Science or in a related field
- At least 3 years of working experience in back-end development
- Working experience or knowledge in Python
- Working experience in any of these languages (C++, C#, Java or PHP)
- Knowledge of Git, Redis, Rabbitmq, Flask is a plus
- Good understanding of Continuous Integration processes and Containers (acquaintance to Kubernetes or Docker Swarm is a plus)
- Experience creating RESTful applications
- Experience implementing APIs and database-backed transaction processing in stateless service architectures
- Working experience with cloud technologies like AWS, Azure or Google cloud is a big plus
- Experience in object-relational database (PostgreSQL is a big plus)
- Ability to communicate complex topics to multiple audiences in order to help create a common roadmap between product management, product engineering, and data science
- Flexibility to travel to client side
- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken
