The U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Gardener in the Facility Management section.

Responsibilities
-Plants and maintains gardens, lawns and trees on Embassy compound and Chief of Mission Residence/Deputy Chief of Missions Residence grounds
-Incumbent operates commercial motorized gardening equipment for landscaping and snow removal
-Incumbent operates heavy duty equipment such as bobcats, garden tractors with different attachments
RequiredQualifications
-Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
-Completion of High School
-At least one year of gardening experience
-Level I (Rudimentary) English and Level III (Good Working Knowledge) Armenian
-Must be capable of performing arduous physical work
-Must have a valid, current class "B" license that is not currently suspended or revoked. Shall have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years. Must demonstrate safe driving skills (to be tested)
-For driving and insurance purposes, the incumbent must be 25 years or older
