Description
Responsibilities
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems and applications and make needed upgrades and repairs
- Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues
- Configure, manage and support virtual environments and network equipment
- Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records
- Help maintain network and computer system security and ensure that all systems are operating correctly
- Test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
- Test and evaluate new technology and recommend its implementation
- Create and verify backups of data
- Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel in order to facilitate purchases
- Advise users on operation of equipment and applications
- Prepare training materials and train users on the proper use of hardware and software
RequiredQualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- At least 1 year of experience in IT
- Good knowledge of Armenian, Russian and English languages
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle difficult situations
- Strong knowledge of computer network, Windows and UNIX/ Linux operating systems
- CompTIA A+ and/ or Linux+ certification is a plus
