Responsibilities

- Add in value by generating more profitably traffic volume, revenues, and profitability through proactive account management of assigned customer relationships and partnerships
- Accountability and responsibility for maintaining and growing business in at least 10+ global A2P carriers
- Forecasting revenues and margins for upcoming quarter and next year
- Developing at least 1 new profitable destination in A2P portfolio with revenues exceeding at least 10K USD
- Develop customer and industry networks in region as part of the global team strategy
- Penetrate and pursue opportunities for account growth with new and existing customers
- Engage in negotiations of rates for A2P SMS delivery to various destinations for different routing classes. Drive the interconnection on the A2P interworking for both originations and terminations
- Build inventory of routes to fulfil A2P SMS market demand by working with carriers, MNOs and aggregators
- Identify new business opportunities for A2P SMS wholesale market
- Work closely with other functional support departments to review progress/problems and ensure follow-through on revenue tracking and reporting issues
- Work closely with the product team on the product development in meeting customer requirements
- Lead all aspects of the sales process, calling upon others to assist in solution development and proposal delivery, as needed, or as directed by management

RequiredQualifications

- Ideally have experience in an international account management environment within international telecoms working with large global accounts and experience within the Carrier/Wholesale arena with excellent knowledge of A2P SMS.
- Preferably Bachelors or equivalent higher education/relevant experience
- Preferred experience of at least 1
- 2 years within the A2P SMS industry, together with a further 2 years' minimum experience within Telecoms Account Management dealing with global operators/carriers
- Have proven strong account management, negotiation & communication skills; Result oriented with a strong analytical mind
- Solid experience and proven track record of managing and developing high level clients
- Proven time management and organizational skills and ability to be self-directed
- Strong analytical, time management, problem solving prioritization and planning skills
- Big plus point if already success in managing A2P commercial relationships
- SMS Routing Management Knowledge Indispensable
- Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards
- You have competencies within strategy, market, commercial and business understanding
- Strong desire to succeed and achieve results
- Excellent team player, highly motivated individual
- Be a self-starter, highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment that is continually changing
