Responsibilities

- Collaborate with team members and business representatives to gather and document requirements
- Architect and implement complex programming solutions using modern development frameworks
- Create technical documentation to capture application design and architecture
- Ensure appropriate unit tests are defined and performed
- Review and evaluate current systems and present ideas for improvements
- Provide application support; troubleshoot and resolve application issues
- Willingness to work outside standard business hours to resolves issues or complete special projects
- Track and maintain constant communication with the customer from the beginning to the end of any established case, issue, or concern

RequiredQualifications

- 3+ years of Java experience
- Experience with Play framework
- Experience with XML / JSON and developing SOAP and REST services
- Strong experience of one or more ORM technologies
- Experience with automated unit testing technologies (Such as JUnit, Spock, or similar)
- Strong experience with source control systems, particularly GIT
- Demonstrated success in building design patterns and software engineering best practices
- Exceptional aptitude for analytical thinking and problem solving
- In depth knowledge of software design and development principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision as part of a team
