The U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, Armenia is seeking an individual for the position of the position of Chauffeur in the General Services Section.

Responsibilities
-Drive passenger vehicles, to transport U. S. Mission employees and official visitors and to deliver official correspondence, gratuities and other items within the city and surrounding area according to the dispatcher's instruction. Assure passenger compliance with USG regulations and assists passengers as needed. Files daily vehicle usage report. Conduct daily maintenance check of Embassy vehicle.

RequiredQualifications
-Applicants must address each required qualification listed below with specific and comprehensive information supporting each item. Failure to do so may result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.

-Completion of secondary school is required.
-A minimum of two years' experience as a chauffeur or two years' experience as a driver in commerce, public transportation, or similar background.
-Level II (limited) spoken/written English and level III (good working knowledge) Armenian ability. (This will be tested).
-Must demonstrate knowledge of local traffic regulations and safe driving practices.
-Must have a valid, current class B, C and D license that is not currently suspended or revoked. Must demonstrate safe driving skills. Shall have had a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years.
-Must pass U.S. government medical clearance exam on regular basis.

-The incumbent must be 25 years or older.
