Description
As a Data Management Platform Expert the incumbent will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, automating and maintaining software to monitor complex scalable architectures. He/ she will work in a fast-paced environment where his/ her actions have impact. He/ she will be in direct contact with product owners, analysts, data scientists, developers and stakeholders. The incumbent will take part in designing and implementing the Company's next generation network, infrastructure, platform and IT operations technology and methodology to power the next generation big data products to be deployed and operated across multi sites globally. The incumbent will be responsible for building the big data environment with HA, scalability and reliability.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for building the big data environment with HA, scalability and reliability;
- Set up, plan and maintain the Company's infrastructure on OpenStack over AWS, on-prem or hybrid;
- Set up Hadoop cluster with high availability;
- Set up Kafka cluster with HA, scalability and reliability;
- Set up HBase and Hive with HA, scalability and reliability;
- Set up CI or CD on the big data environment;
- Own automation of the infrastructure, and drive the development of new features;
- Work on bringing engineering practices into infrastructure operations;
- Design, develop and maintain software to monitor and optimize the Company's architecture;
- Develop interactive dashboards using the latest web technologies;
- Automate the process of getting data from different sources to compare with baselines and automatically act on breaches;
- Pro-actively think of new ways to measure the Company's performance;
- Constantly be on top of own game to increase performance of the team and the Company's systems;
- Be challenged to handle the Company's complex and large data sets.

RequiredQualifications
- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience;
- Previous Lead DevOps or IT leadership experience;
- Experience with Unix or Linux and network fundamentals;
- Experience in Java development;
- Experience in Oracle or SQL databases;
- Scripting and programming skills;
- Experience in developing software implementing API functionality using REST, Thrift, JSON or similar;
- Advanced knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages.
