Collections Agent
Role Purpose
The role of a Collections Agent is to engage and support our customers through a period of financial difficulty and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that are in the best interest of the bank and our customers. Collections Agent is responsible for delivering a professional service that helps our customers solve their problems, and by doing so, creates a favorable opinion of our organization and an increased willingness to repay their commitments. Collections agent is required to adhere to all regulatory requirements and Collections Operations policies and procedures, to achieve agreed productivity and recovery rate performance target.
Responsibilities
-Reduction of costs/increase of profit
-To work closely with customers who are in financial difficulties, by arranging debt collection, deliver positive, appropriate and sustainable outcomes
-Deliver a high value, professional and quality service to our customers
-Delivering the best solutions/options to meet customer's needs
-Delivering positive and professional outcomes for our customers
-Providing our customers the confidence that HSBC understands their specific situation and concerns
-To be a dependable, goal oriented, motivated team member who takes personal ownership for the continuous improvement of his/her skills
RequiredQualifications
-University degree
-Excellent communication/skills – both conversational and written
-Good knowledge of Armenian, English and Russian languages
-Ability to organize work independently and as part of a team
-Understanding of legal documentation
-Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
-Empathetic approach with ability to build rapport and engender trust
-Positive attitude – demonstrating teamwork and cooperation towards the achievement of operational goals
-Committed and enthusiastic to an ever changing environment and continuous personal improvement
-Ability to work under pressure and with flexible working schedule
