Responsibilities

- Handles IP Intelligence systems, related workflows, system updates and improvements with new functionalities. As a Super User for IP Intelligence systems, provides first line of support to internal users, acts as a contact person for Helpdesk second line of support, IS, and security team
- Handles upload of filed applications and search reports into respective records, managed data transfer between various systems in close collaboration with IP Managers and IP legal teams Keeps track of status of patent filings. Ensures updates are done timely and with high quality
- Develop and maintain a governance structure and process to timely report on certain events relating to PMI patent filings and applications such as change of ownership, filing of divisional application, and proceed to grant. Prepare reports and summary dashboards with statistics with the status on PMI filings
- Provide feedback for IP Intelligence Systems related workflows database analytical tool improvements
- Supports Manager other IP management support related activities including development and deployment of IP information security guidelines and training materials
- Carry out all of the activities ensuring that PMI Compliance Policies, standards, and laws relating to these activities are fully respected, integrated and understood by stakeholders, and implement adequate processes to ensure the protection of information of a confidential nature
- Establish effective working relationship with IP Intelligence service providers, handle scope and quality of deliverables related to IP Intelligence systems and workflows, and reporting to achieve objectives on a timely basis

RequiredQualifications

- Bachelors Degree in a Technical Domain, Paralegal, and Business Administration, Economics or equivalent
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a relevant position such as a technical field, systemdatabase management or experience with patent filing systems and processes
- Draw conclusions and recommendations to the manager and develop some analysis or ad-hoc reporting highly organized, handle pressure well, and understand the importance of deadlines
- Understanding of IT systems specifically Intellectual property systems and databases
- Understanding of patenting process and procedures
- Experience in setting up, maintaining and searching in databases understanding of patent databases is essential
- Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must. Proficiency in any other language including Armenian, Russian andor French is plus
