Responsibilities
-Write clean, simple, efficient, modular, maintainable, and well documented code – Primarily in MYSQL, Javascript, PHP, JQuery, JQuery UI, and CSS
- Conduct quality assurance testing
- Proactively find and fix software bugs. Offer your feedback on ways to improve product(s) features, workflow, design, security and design patterns
RequiredQualifications
- A Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- up to 3 years of programing experience either in the front end or back end
- engineering experience with Java Script, PHP, HTML, CSS, building responsive UIs, MySQL
- Experience working with Linux and Git
- Experience building and scaling distributed, highly available systems
- Awesome communication and organization skills
- Advanced knowledge of English is a must Plus Points If you are adept at any of the following:
- Experience with server administration, architecture, and AWS
- Very good at working with PhotoShop and able to design mocks
- Experience working with caching at various levels (client-side, server-side, local/network, etc), and specifically Redis
- Have a good idea of how to setup a build environment for a web app
- Have worked on automated testing in the past
- Have worked in/with the media industry in the past
