Description
Based at a large mining site the Camp Manager is responsible for the management of all camp, housing, catering, laundry and other camp administration activities.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for camp operations management, budget development, problem-solving and cost control;
- Plan, organize, market, mobilize and implement Company procedures;
- Manage and oversee all camp/ catering activities;
- Monitor camp premises and carry out preventive maintenance periodically to ensure that the Company's health and safety policies are adhered too and housekeeping and hygiene's highest standards are met to create a safe and healthy environment;
- Ensure accommodations and service facilities are well maintained and meet all standards to the extent possible;
- Supervise staff to ensure acceptable performance of assigned job duties;
- Monitor supply needs and order food and supplies as required;
- Ensure food services meet health, hygiene and quality standards and meet employees needs and satisfaction;
- Manage departmental assets and expenditures efficiently;
- Ensure that work is performed in an efficient, safe, and environmentally responsible manner;
- Ensure IFC Worker Camp guidelines strictly adhered to camp operations stay within budget.

RequiredQualifications
- Degree in an appropriate field;
- At least 10 years of experience in operation and maintenance of large scale camps in very remote areas;
- Solid background in management of catering, housekeeping, maintenance and administration of camps;
- Excellent knowledge of building servicing and maintenance with experience in, but not limited to, maintaining appropriate systems records and documentation associated with camp management, logistic management as well as financial control and planning;
- Capacity to integrate within an international and national workforce;
- Ability to lead and train international and national staff;
- Capacity to meet deadlines often under pressure and adverse conditions;
- Ability to organize and motivate team members;
- Strong management, organizational and interpersonal skills;
- Fluency in English, Armenian and Russian languages;
- Excellent MS office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to multitask;
- Positive work attitude;
- Good communication skills (writing, reading and speaking);
- Availability of a driving license;
- Ability to train staff about customer service and quality management.
