- Supervise the Lydian and subcontracted site security personnel to ensure compliance with Lydian security policies and procedures including the UN Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights
- Communicate to line management on all matters relating to emergency and security issues to ensure appropriate support is provided on security matters on site
- Provide the leadership necessary to ensure that employees and contractors adhere to safety and environmental standards that exceed worldwide industry standards and any applicable legislation
- Develop relationships and networks to monitor activity within the local area, to ensure that Lydian is thoroughly briefed on any potential threat to its employees, assets and ongoing operations
- Implement employee performance management processes to ensure optimum employee performance and take appropriate action to remedy any substandard employee performance or behavior
- Manage the day-to-day deployment of the contracted security guard force
- Conduct periodic security equipment checks for maintenance and auditing purposes
- Ensure the accurate and timely reporting and recording of all security related events to the security manager
- Ensure the effective execution of all procedures stipulated within the SMP
- Identify and report all vulnerabilities to the project site areas as they become known
- Ensure that effective access control measures are enforced
- Coordinate appropriate and proportionate security responses to criminal activity or serious incidents
- Report all personnel related matters and disciplinary infringements to the security manager
- Analyze fuel management system data and recognize possible vulnerabilities
- Plan and implement security technical systems maintenance program
- Take measures needed for keeping security technical equipment in the working conditions


- University degree in a related field; degree in Electronics Engineering or in a military, technical or engineering-economical field is desirable
- 3 years of experience in security positions or 5 years of experience in military/ police service
- Good computer skills, knowledge of MS office (Email, Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Knowledge of legislation related to security
- Driving license and experience
- General knowledge of safety rules
- Strong organizational skills, analytical mind and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Teamwork skills
- Detail-oriented, accurate and self-organized person
- Ability to notice and fix problems
- Good (working) knowledge of English, Armenian and Russian languages
- Electronic and IT knowledge related to security systems (CCTV, Access control, intrusion detection), maintenance, repair and operation is desirable
- Experience in data analysis regarding electronic fuel management and control is desirable The Site Security Supervisor must know:
- Legislative and normative-legal acts related to security sector
- Threats to the Company from security point of view
- Principles of organizational and technical approaches in security
- Security culture principles
- Evacuation and emergency management and mitigation methods
- Specialization of Company subdivisions and their interconnections in terms of production
- Company development prospects
- Rules and regulations regarding labor protection The Site Security Supervisor acts in compliance with:
- RA legislative acts
- Company statute, the rules of internal labor regulations, "Lydia Armenia" CJSC other normative acts
- Management orders and instructions
