Alumni Engagement and Fundraising Coordinator will be a key frontline
Fundraising Officer in our efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward our alumni to increase annual unrestricted/restricted financial support to AUA.
The Alumni Engagement and Fundraising Coordinator will collaborate with the Development Office on strategy for AUA's fundraising cultivation, solicitation, and implementation.
Responsibilities
-Develop a milestone-driven strategic plan for alumni engagement and giving
-Set annual fundraising goals, and create a move management plan including in person meetings with alumni in Armenia to cultivate philanthropy
-Develop alumni programs/events that support the University's strategic plan for increased Alumni engagement, enlarge and deepen Alumni engagement and frequency of interactions with the University
-Work closely with the Development Office, secure multi-year alumni pledges, and increase the giving levels through active stewardship efforts
-Establish relationships with a wide range of alumni - locally and internationally, maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, electronic newsletters, email blasts, alumni website, and print publications
-In collaboration with the Development and Communications Offices, create content focused on alumni successes, annual giving solicitation materials, annual reports, and stewardship correspondence
-Conduct research on potential major donors among alumni to share with the Office of Development for further follow-up using Bloomerang, alumni database, social media and other searching mechanisms
-Promote the institutional fundraising campaigns designed by Development Office among AUA alumni
-Ensure accurate and complete alumni database records
-Maintain the alumni webpage by keeping it updated
-Design, edit and produce brochures, newsletters, postcards, holiday cards, flyers, invitations and event materials in cooperation with the Communications Office
-Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor(s)
RequiredQualifications
-BA in Humanities and Social Sciences (Master Degree is preferable)
-2 years relevant experience in fundraising
-Excellent command of written/oral English and Armenian
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Proven creative/content writing skills
-Knowledge of database use
