Description
Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) International is looking to hire people who are passionate about mathematical education to join the RSM International team in Yerevan. Candidates who do not have official scores (GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, etc.) would need to complete a test in both Mathematics and English language. Once hired, employees will work on the curriculum with the US Headquarter and teach online classes from Yerevan. There are H1B and other US transfer opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to K-12th grades online; ensure maximum results by following RSM methods of education;
- Assist with curriculum development;
- Manage and oversee online homework sessions daily;
- Prepare lessons; work closely with a mentor teacher to develop, plan, and deliver a lesson; discuss individual progress of the students and academic questions;
- Communicate with parents by maintaining records of academic performance, reporting all elements of student development through email;
- Attend curriculum department training sessions organized by RSM.
RequiredQualifications
- At least Bachelor's degree in Pure or Applied Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering;
- Excellent computer skills;
- Fluency in English language;
- Highly organized and motivated personality; ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Professional phone/ online presentation and quick learning skills;
- Work experience in education settings and/ or curriculum development is a great plus.
