Responsibilities
- Establish a carrier base for new and existing accounts, including compliance checking and filling in the carriers’ database
- Maintain and grow relationships with carriers to move freight as per client’s needs
- Register as carrier and grow relationships with freight brokers.
- Identify issues, resolve problems, and be able to think critically to determine the best course of action in an ever-changing industry
- Persistently contact new and existing carriers to determine capacity and negotiate competitive rates
- Maximize partnerships by efficiently utilizing analytics and evaluating profits as per market fluctuations
- Generate leads for future client identification
- Research and understand market trends, changes and seasonality
- Communicate with clients and carriers daily to negotiate rates plan movement
- Work in tandem with the internal team members to ensure client satisfaction
RequiredQualifications
- Excellent verbal and communication skills in English

- Ability to be accessible to clients and suppliers during standard EST working hours (US east coast 8am – 5pm)
