Description
Instigate Mobile is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Computer Graphics and 3D Game Engines as full-time team member to join its team in Armenia. He/She will participate in whole project development life cycle starting from understanding the business requirements, designing/adjusting the architecture, defining technology stack of the projects, implementing and testing the code, writing the specification to release, doing deployment and maintenance. The projects won't be limited by just Computer Graphics technologies only, and will include other
technologies as well, including web, cloud development, mobile apps, quality engineering, etc.
Responsibilities
-Conduct business system analysis with Engineering and/or Project Managers, Company's clients to define project requirements and stakeholder needs
-Cover whole software life-cycle including requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing, release & deployment, maintenance
-Develop highly complex, efficient and scalable software systems with multi-technology stack, test and troubleshoot them when necessary
-As Senior member of Engineering team, take team lead role for specific projects and lead a small team (a few engineers team)
-Understand best modern practices; periodically monitor and improve used development environment and process
-Work as a part of a team, help team to grow with knowledge, research and share new technologies, practices, participate to management discussions, support long-term company growth
RequiredQualifications
-(Must) Generalist SW Engineer – Strong background in Software Engineering, Computer Science, 3+ years of experience
-(Must) Proficiency in any of C++/C#/Java languages
-(Must) Background in web development, interest to further growth in the field
-(Must) Experience in Computer Graphics and 3D Game Engine, at least basic
-(Must) Experience in Quality Engineering and Testing, at least basic
-(Preferable) Availability and skills for long term trips (~1 year) within Armenia and countries abroad
-(Preferable) Experience in Unity
