Responsibilities
- Assist all financial systems in the office to ensure compliance with relevant USAID policies and procedures
- Assist the Director of Finance and Administration in budget tracking, procurement of goods and services, subcontracting and accounts payable
- Assist with providing reports on the financial status of current program under ME&A field approved system for internal financial reporting and prepare monthly expense report for ME&A headquarters
- Ensure timely payment of all types of invoices and billings, as well as prepare payments in electronic banking system
- Prepare VAT exemption statements
- Prepare wire transfer requests based on budget projections
- Ensure timely preparation of payroll together with the Accountant
- Prepare service contracts and consultant agreements
- Handle timesheets of consultants, prepare acts on acceptance and track the payments
- Manage administration filing system
- Prepare human resources related documentation as requested by RA legislation
- Oversee the work of the Administrative Assistant, the Translators and Drivers
- Assist with procurement analyses, ensure that office procurement is implemented in accordance with USAID policy and procedures
- Assist in customs clearance of imported goods (Project equipment) and for expatriates' personal effects when needed
RequiredQualifications
- Master's degree
- Proficient use of Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and individually
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and tight time constraints
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in both written and spoken Armenian and English languages
- At least 5 years of work experience in a financial role in a large office, desirably in an international organization
