Responsibilities
- Implement analysis and monitoring of current network; elaborate modernization tools;
- Disclose and assess the root causes of existing basic technical issues;
- Analyze incidents, predict upcoming troubles, as well as elaborate quick-response procedures;
- Elaborate a plan and proceed with its realization;
- Make analysis of statistics and the structure of recorded technical complaints to Call Center;
- Research Company's ADSL/ VDSL and FTTB networks;
- Evaluate hardware and software technical state;
- Elaborate equipment modernization hand-outs;
- Gather requirements from corresponding subunits and define terms of technical implementation;
- Evaluate the necessity and urgency of introducing technical changes and set priorities;
- Identify weak points in technical and organizational solutions; propose effective and practical actions for improvement;
- Analyze the quality of connection channels and assess the existing infrastructure;
- Evaluate the efficiency of activities taken within the whole project life;
- Elaborate quality assurance procedures;
- Apply tools for optimization of equipment configurations.
RequiredQualifications
- University degree in IT or technical fields;
- At least 2 years of previous work experience in IT or technical sphere;
- Experience in telecommunication sector is preferable;
- Knowledge of structure and basic IT technologies;
- Ability to exploit network equipment;
- Knowledge of OSI, network topology and routing traffic;
- Advanced Linux user;
- Practical experience in working with ADSL and FTTB technologies;
- Strong analytical mindset;
- Excellency in Armenian and Russian languages; fluency in English language;
- Basic project management skills is a plus;
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Network administration and troubles automation experience;
- knowledge of at least one of the following languages: Python, Perl, PHP, Bach, C++ and Java;
- Knowledge of SQL;
- Project management skills;
- Knowledge of client service principles; experience in working with client support systems (Help Desk or requests management system).
